This dynamic educational session is designed for primary care health professionals who provide antenatal and postnatal first point-of-care in the South Brisbane area.
It is important to recognise and manage perinatal mental health disorders. This event provides practical case studies and updated information.
Audience: General Practitioners and other primary care health professionals
Learning Outcomes:
- Discuss considerations for routine clinical screening in the perinatal period
- Discuss clinical case management during the perinatal period, including safe medications.
- Roles and referral pathways for primary and specialist perinatal mental health services- Who does what when
